- Do I have to provide a 2 weeks voucher each year to keep my web site and associated product active?

PIXORAMA will design your web sites and associated products using the latest technologies and best designer's talent. PIXORAMA is paid by its sponsors at an average rate of 120$/hour to do the job. The web site will remain the property of PIXORAMA's sponsors. Only its use will be granted to you on a yearly basis. In other words you will use the web site and associated products for one year and our sponsors will use your facilities for 2 weeks.

- What happen if I want to stop to provide your sponsors a room and board and if I want to keep the web site and associated products?

You may if you wish buy your web site and associated products with a rebate of 10% per year of contract under the SWAPNET program. For instance, if your web site is worth 10000$ you will be able to buy it 7000$ after 3 years of contract with us. It will become, then, your property. The amount paid by our sponsors for your website will be given to you upon request.

- What if I want to add extra tools or services to my web site that are not included in my Swapnet program?

It is possible to add extras on your web site. PIXORAMA will then charge you the normal cost with a 10% discount on our list prices.

- What happen if we do not receive any guest from your sponsors?

Your vouchers are given to our sponsors and should be used by their employees during their validity period. If they are not used for any reason they will be lost definitively for them and you will not have to accept any guest after their expiration date.

- What happen if after setting a date for your team to come we cannot receive the sponsor's guest?

When you are elected by our sponsor's jury, we receive some funds as soon as we set a date to start your project. We can, for well founded reasons change ONCE the agreed upon date and set another appointment with you. If we dont, the funds will be allocated to another project and definitively lost for you. You will NOT have a second chance to enter the program.

- What happen if after the guest has made a reservation we cannot provide him we the full stay?

When you have accepted the reservation you MUST comply with it. If for any GOOD reasons you cannot provide our guests their full stay, you will have to provide an extra week the following year for the nights and meals you were not able to provide. However, the maximum number of missing nights in the reserved week should not exceed 3 during the week. Not accepting it or exceeding the maximum number of missing nights, will immediatly cancel your SWAPNET program.

- What happen if we are not chosen by your sponsor's jury?

If you are not elected by our sponsor's jury, you will not receive any notice by email. You will be automatically presented the following month and be advised when chosen.

- What happen if we want to update or modify our site after its completion?
 
PIXORAMA will update your site if you need to change your prices or special offers twice a year at no charge if the time to do this work do not exceed 1 hour each time. If the time to accomplish the modification exceed this time PIXORAMA will charge you the extra time at our hourly rate with a discount of 10%. Any other modification will be charged the same way.

- Can I have my web site in different languages?
 
PIXORAMA will not do your web site in different languages under the SWAPNET program. Internet's international language is English and most people viewing your site will speak this language. However, you may choose another language. In special occasions, if your site is done in HTML and not in Flash, we might accept to include a second or third language in it. Some of our clients are using Word documents in different languages to be added to the Pixorama site.
You must be aware that you can if you are willing to pay for it, include as many languages using latin alphabet as you want in your free Flash or HTML site. Any language like, japanese, chinese or russian using non conventional letters cannot be added by Pixorama.

- Do you help us making the text for our web site?
 
Unfortunatly, we are not equiped to provide you any help for writing the text for you. You have to give us the text in the chosen language included in a text file and we will copy and paste it into your site.

-Is it possible to have an online shop to sell products in our website?
 
No these technologies are using databases and PHP or ASP programming languages and are not within the scope of the Flash website used in the Swapnet exchange program.

- Can we tell your studio how, exactly we want our site to look like?
 
Yes of course, your opinion is a valued asset for our designers, but for technical reasons our studio might decide to follow other ideas. The project manager has the final word as far as the design concept is concern.

- What happens if we decide to leave the SWAPNET program before the end of the 1st year?
 
You may choose to leave the SWAPNET program before the end of the first year. If your decision occurs after the 2 weeks voucher yearly utilization. Your site will be closed down and your contract terminated. If not, you will have to wait the end of the 12 month period to leave the SWAPNET program.

- What  if we don't have a restaurant to provide meals for your guests?
 
If you don't have a restaurant or if you dont provide any meals in your premices, you will have to get a particular agreement with Pixorama to provide the request meals at your cost in a restaurant nearby. But if meals are served, even occasionally or on special order in your hotel or guesthouse, you will have to provide lunch or dinner to our guests in order to be eligible for the Swapnet program.

-Can we have movies or video conferencing added to our website?
 
Streaming video or visual conferencing need a special server technology and are not within the possibilities of your Swapnet exchange program .

- Can we charge extra money for drinks, tea or coffe to  your guests?
 
Yes anything taken outside breakfast or lunch by our guests can be charged directly to them. However, normal drinks during their meals must be provided. You must, if you intend to charge extra money to our guests, tell them before serving any non  included beverages.

- Do I own the site and the pictures made by Pixorama?
 
No, the sponsors paid web site and the associated photos and illustrations will remain the property of Pixorama. You can if you are interested acquire the photo's rights by contacting Pixorama.

- Do we have to provide the two weaks exchange voucher the first year when your team come to our hotel ?
 
Yes, you provide a maximum of two weeks to our team in order to have your website done on the spot according to your taste and wishes, but you still have to give the yearly 2 weeks voucher for the first year to our sponsors.

- Do we have access to our server to modify our site?
 
No, for security reasons we do not allow anyone to access the server where your site is hosted. If you want to modify your site, you will have to ask us to do so. A direct interface on the web to change yourself the content of your website uses PHP, ASP or Coldfusion technologies. These technologies are not within the scope of the SWAPNET program. Most clients of ours use dowloadable PDF brochures to host their content to be modified.

-Can we have a Guest Book in our website?
 
The Swapnet program uses limited sponsors funds and Guest books make use of database and PHP programming. Expensive server technologies and programming time are not possible within the scope of the exchange contract.

- Can we get the sources of our site for referencing purposes?
 
Most people not to say all people trying to sell you referencing services are trying to take advantage of your credulity. Only Google or Yahoo paid services will get you for sure in the first page of their search engines. For this reason we will never cooperate with these so-called referencing companies and will never give our source code to them.

- If we already have an E-Artbook when we are selected for the Swapnet program can we choose a substitute product to go with our web site?
 
Normally, you are entitled to receive a free last generation web site and a free E-Artbook when you are selected by our sponsor's jury. When possible we will try to give you extra features for you web site or another E-Artbook, but we cannot provide you with an other product to replace the E-ArtBook.

-Are we obliged to accept other PIXORAMA hotels links in the first page of our website?
 
We think that having your hotel website link in other webpage seen by the same type of persons you wish to have as client is a good marketing practice. But you are not obliged to accept other hotels links on your web site, but as a reciprocal measure, your hotel will not be mentioned in the other hotels first page.

-Can we have an online reservation system in our website?
 
Online reservation system are complex data base program using a special server technology and are not within the scope of the Swapnet program.

-Do we have a complete statistical analysis of the visitors of our Website with the SWAPNET program?
 
Pixorama is a design agency and will design your website free of charge for you but does not provide the server part of it allowing the statistical server's tools. We always recommand the best service quality ratio server company for you but you may choose any other virtual server provider to suit your specific needs.

-Does Pixorama provide a free maintenance service for our website?
 
Pixorama will repair free of charge any problem you might have on your website or server only if Pixorama as the sole access to your virtual server where your site is hosted. If this is not the case, Pixorama will not take care of the maintenace under th Swapnet program and will charge its services for a fee.

-How long do we have to wait to have our website changed?
 
Pixorama will not change your website until a major website technology major change occurs. Our studio manager will decide if your web site needs some grooming or a complete change after a certain number of years. Your website is also our showroom and Pixorama will not leave an outdated or obsolete website online.
